spin chucks and main arm fingers.
Name
TFM
Characteristics
A resin that improves upon the poor weldability of PTFE. Exhibits excellent creep resistance and has a longer flex life compared to traditional PTFE. Also offers superior electrical insulation properties and has a smooth surface finish on molded parts. TFM has excellent secondary processing capabilities, such as welding, bending, and machining. Has good weldability at temperatures ranging from 360°C to 380°C.
Usage
Commonly used in welded components such as bellower for LCD and semiconductor, measuring tanks, and cassette guides, also PFA-processed alternative materials related to wielding.
Name
PFA : Polyoxymethylene
Characteristics
PFA is a fluoropolymer material that shares similar general characteristics with PTFE. Has a high operating temperature (up to 260°C) and is known for its excellent chemical resistance. One distinct feature is its ability to be dissolved by heat, making it suitable for processes such as thermal fusion bonding and welding. Can also be processed through methods like injection molding and extrusion.
Usage
Used in tubes, fitting, cassettes, and other injection-molded products used for piping applications. Also suitable for tube tanks.
Name
PEEK : Polyether ether ketone
Characteristics
PEEK (Polyether ether ketone) is known for its excellent chemical resistance, low friction coefficient, and self-lubricating properties. Exhibits superior abrasion resistance and high heat resistance, with continuous use up to 260°C and maintaining mechanical properties even at 300°C. Has excellent electrical insulation properties at high temperatures (up to 200°C). Flame retardant with a V-0 rating, producing minimal smoke and toxic gas. PEEK materials are available with improved sliding characteristics, as well as those reinforced with glass fiber (GF) or carbon fiber. Additionally, there are PEEK materials containing CA for enhanced conductivity.
Usage
Used in wafer guides, holding rings, wafer baskets, lcd caskets, bolts, and absorption rods in the semiconductor manufacturing process, as well as in industries such as automotive, electrical/electronics, fluid machinery, OA equipment, chemical, aerospace, and space industries.
