Flexitallic Thermiculite^®

Thermiculite is a sealing media which is incorporated in to multiple Flexitallic sealing platforms: Spiral Wound, Kammprofile, Change , etc. Thermiculite is fire safe: API 6FB and is suitable for applications: 150# to 2500#, cryogenic to 1000oC. Thermiculite was developed to reliably overcome the thermal oxidisation and galvanic corrosion issues associated with graphite gaskets & seals. Thermiculite® gaskets are 10,000 x tighter than graphite at the SWG gasket seating stress of 78MPa and over 500 times tighter at 160MPa gasket stresses.
